Weekend preview: 3/12 – 3/13; Generals visit Titans for two game series

The Northeast Generals will be visiting the Middletown Sports Complex this weekend to play a two-game series against the Titans. Friday night’s game begins at 7:30 PM while Saturday’s starts at 7:00 PM.

Generals and Titans Overview
This will be the seventh and eighth meetings between the teams with each winning three games apiece, although the Titans have outscored the Generals 24 – 20. The last time they met was the weekend of February 19 and 20 with each winning a game but Northeast won the last contest by a score of 4 – 3.

Aidan Curran leads the Generals in total points against the Titans with seven (1 goal and 6 assist) while six different players have scored two goals against New Jersey. The Titans have converted on 20.0% (27 for 135) on the powerplay (7th in the league). They have allowed five goals while on the man advantage.  The Titans are 83.0% efficient on the penalty kill (ninth in the league).
