The Titans have announced today that they have traded a 2022 tender to the Maryland Black Bears in exchange for 2004 defenseman Leo Schwartz.
Schwartz was in his second year with the Black Bears. Last season he had seven points (1 goal and 6 assists) in 27 games. So far this season he doesn’t have a point in seven games.
Schwartz, a Jericho, New York native is a right shot defenseman who is committed to Brown.
“We are excited to add Leo to a deep and talented defense core” said Titans head coach and general manager Craig Doremus. “Leo has experience in our league and is good puck mover with an excellent defensive stick. Leo is someone I have known for many years, and I am excited to get to work with him in New Jersey. Leo adds a nice element to our group, and we are thrilled to get him to Middletown” concluded Doremus.
