Last weekend players from the Titans EHL, Met, and U18 teams came together to play in the Senior Chowder Cup. The Chowder Cup is a summer prospect tournament held in Massachusetts and is known nation wide. The Titans team had a great showing going 2-1-1. They finished the weekend with a heartbreaking loss in the final minute of overtime in the first round of playoffs, after winning their bracket. The Titans won their first game 4-3 in overtime over the Avalanche, with goals from Brad Becker, Max Weber, Chris Wuestneck, and Mike Gelatt. On Friday the Titans took on Team Pittsburgh and played them to a 3-3 tie. Malafronte, Lange, and Weber had the goals. Then on Saturday the Titans took on Casper Coyotes and beat them 3-1, with 2 goals from Malafronte, and 1 Wade. Finally, after winning their bracket the Titans played the CD Raiders. The teams played to a 0-0 draw after regulation, but CD won it in overtime in the final minute. The Titans are very proud of the team and how they battled during the Chowder Cup.
