Titans Coach Romanella gets Head Job at Delaware

May 24, 2014

Middletown, NJ – The New Jersey Titans are proud to announce that Titans EHL Associate Coach Rocky Romanella has accepted the Head Coaching position at his Alma Mater, the University of Delaware to coach their ACHA Division I Program.

Rocky, in his year with the Titans worked with U18 AAA team and the Eastern Hockey League team as an Assistant Coach, in addition to his duties with Middletown Ice World where he was an on-ice practice coach for the Middletown Ice World House League.  A former NCAA coach at St. Mike's, Romanella is set to return to the college ranks again with the school that he represented for two years in the ACHA.

While the club is sad to see a coach of Romanella's caliber leave, we wish Rocky the best of luck in his new position at the University of Delaware and are excited that he will stay on board with the club as a regional scout, and the club looks to develop an even stronger relationship with the Delaware hockey program with regards to advancing players to the college level.
