As the calendar turns towards December, the New Jersey Titans are proud of their 80+ alumni playing in the NCAA.
The past week saw some firsts for the Titans’ alumni in Hamilton, New York. Friday night saw Robertson Cup Champion David Posma (2021-22) score his first goal at the collegiate level in a 5-2 Niagara victory over Colgate. Looking for a change in fortune, the Colgate Raiders turned to Posma’s Championship teammate Andrew Takacs (2021-22) in goal, where his 22 saves would be good enough for his first NCAA victory in a 2-1 decision. Titan alums faced off in University Park, Pennsylvania, with two assists for Lindenwood’s Caleb Price (2020-21) and one for Kyle Jeffers (2017-20), along with an assist for Penn State’s Jimmy Dowd Jr. (2017-18) in a 9-3 romp for the Nittany Lions. Dowd would add another assist the next night as Penn State swept the weekend, giving Dowd assists in 5 of his past 6 games.
Out west in Adrian, Michigan, Jake Suede (2020-21) recorded a pair of assists for the Bulldogs in a 2-1 victory over Stevenson. In Appleton, Wisconsin, Joe Glamos (2018-2020) recorded two assists for Buffalo State as the Bengals defeated Lawrence University 3-2. Closer to home, Mitch Matchlitt (2018-20) scored for SUNY-Geneseo in an 8-3 win over Williams, and he followed that effort with two assists in a 4-2 victory over Amherst
