With conference playoffs well underway, the New Jersey Titans are proud of their 80+ alumni playing NCAA hockey.
Friday night saw Eric Charpentier log an assist for Dartmouth as the Big Green defeated Union 3-1. Dartmouth has advanced to the ECAC Semifinals, where they will face Nick DeSantis and the #14 Cornell Big Red on Friday night at the Herb Brooks Arena in Lake Placid, NY.
On Saturday, Chris Carroll scored twice for Utica and added an assist as the Pioneers knocked off Plymouth State 4-1. Later that night, Matt Iasenza and Hobart played in the second longest NCAA Division III game in history against Curry College. Iasenza’s Statesmen scored the game winning goal at the 15:17 mark of the 4th overtime period to secure a 4-3 victory. Utica and Hobart are set for a semifinal clash on Thursday, March 21st, at 3:00 pm.
On the other side of the bracket, Jake Suede tallied 3 assists to power Adrian to a 5-3 win over St. Norbert, giving Suede 4 points in two playoff games. The Bulldogs will face Joe Harney and host school Trinity in the other semifinal on Thursday at 7:00pm.
