With conference tournaments continuing, the New Jersey Titans are proud of their 80+ alumni playing NCAA hockey.

Brandon Perrone and Zack Nazzarett have concluded their collegiate careers with Long Island University and have made the jump together to the professional ranks by signing a Professional Tryout Contract with the Fayetteville Marksmen of the Southern Professional Hockey League.  Nazzarett concludes his NCAA career with 32 points in 78 games played, while Perrone appeared in 52 games and put up a 2.94 goals against average and .888 save percentage.

Still skating in college, Nick Ring had an assist for New Hampshire in a 4-0 win over UMass-Lowell in their regular season finale on Friday night.  The teams will face off again tomorrow, March 13th, in the first round of the Hockey East Tournament.

Saturday night saw Jimmy Dowd score to put Penn State on the board in the Big Ten Quarterfinals against Minnesota, but the Nittany Lions lost in a heartbreaker 3-2 to see their season come to an end.  Jake Suede found the back of the net as Adrian knocked off Wisconsin – Stevens Point 4-0 in the First Round of the NCAA Division III Tournament.  The Bulldogs will host St Norbert in the Elite Eight on Saturday, March 16th.  Danny Dimon, Shane Haviland, and Elmira College defeated Brad Zona and Endicott College 5-2 to move on in the NCAA DIII Tournament.  Elmira will face Joe Harney and Trinity College on Saturday, March 16th.
