With collegiate seasons coming to end and conference tournaments beginning, the New Jersey Titans are proud of their 80+ alumni currently playing NCAA hockey.
This past week began with Joe Glamos being named to the SUNYAC Third Team All-Conference team for the second season in a row. Glamos led Buffalo State with 13 goals and 24 assists, appearing in all 25 games for the Bengals. The Junior ended his season on a 7 game point streak, including goals in his last 3 games. However, Buffalo State fell 4-3 to Potsdam and saw their season come to an end. Elsewhere, Ryan Coughlin combined for a goal and two assists in midweek matchups against Niagara, with Mercyhurst winning both games 4-1 and 6-1. On Friday, Ryan Naumovski had a goal and an assist as Augustana defeated Alaska-Anchorage 6-5. Defenseman Eric Charpentier scored his third of the season for Dartmouth in a 5-1 victory over RPI, and Nick Seitz recorded 3 assists for Princeton as the Tigers knocked off Ivy League rival Yale 4-1.
Saturday night saw Naumovski get on the scoresheet again with a goal in Augustana’s 3-0 win over Alaska-Anchorage. Naumovski has been nominated for the Hobey Baker Award and is the current NCAA ironman leader, playing in 164 straight games. Seitz continued to produce for Princeton, with a goal and an assist for the Tigers as they defeated Brown 5-1. He now has 10 points in his last 8 games from the blueline. Brendan Dumas found the back of the net for Sacred Heart, as the Pioneers tied Bentley 2-2. Jack Ring had an assist for for SUNY-Plattsburgh in a 3-2 win over Oswego, as the Cardinals hold the third seed in the SUNYAC playoffs.
