The New Jersey Titans are proud of their 80+ alumni playing NCAA hockey.
Last weekend saw more Titans score their first collegiate goals. Friday night saw a pair of 2022 Robertson Champions keep puck for themselves. First, it was Brendan Dumas who lit the lamp for the first time with Sacred Heart, scoring the only goal in a 5-1 loss to Holy Cross. Not wanting to be left out, his former linemate Michael Young potted his first for Princeton in a 4-3 defeat to RPI. Elsewhere, their center Anthony Calafiore scored his second of the season for Maine as the Black Bears fell 6-2 to New Hampshire. Nick Ring tallied an assist for the Wildcats in the win. Jimmy Dowd Jr. added his 9th assist of the season for Penn State, though they lost to Michigan 5-3. Joe Glamos scored for SUNY-Buffalo State, and Jack Ring had an assist for SUNY-Plattsburgh, as the Cardinals defeated the Bengals 5-2.
Familiar names stayed busy on Saturday, starting with Dowd Jr. assisting on a power play goal in the first period as Penn State avenged the previous night’s loss with a 4-2 win over the Wolverines. Ring got on the scoresheet again for New Hampshire as they swept the weekend against Maine. For Ring, he now has 4 points in his last 4 games. Glamos and Ring repeated their performances with a goal for Glamos and an assist for Ring as Buffalo State fell to Potsdam 4-3, and Plattsburgh edged Fredonia 2-1. Eric Charpentier scored the game tying goal, and his second of the year, for Dartmouth as they came from behind to tie St. Lawrence 4-4. Gavin Gulash both Nick Seitz both recorded an assist for Robert Morris and Princeton, respectively.
