The New Jersey Titans are pleased to announce that the team as acquired the rights of forward Jake Suede from the Maine Nordiques in exchange for multiple assets. Suede was a member of the Youngstown Phantoms of the United States Hockey League (USHL) last year.
During the 2019-20 campaign with the Phantoms, Suede had five points (3 goals and 2 assists) in 33 games. The Macomb, MI native previously played with the Lone Star Brahmas of the NAHL in 2018-19 where he posted twenty-one points (6 goals and 15 assists) in 45 games. He is a 2000 birth year.
“We are excited to add Jake to our team” stated Titans head coach and general manager Craig Doremus. “Jake’s experience in junior hockey and the NAHL will prove to be valuable for our young hockey team. He has shown the ability to succeed as an individual and as part of winning franchises before getting to New Jersey. Jake is going to play a really big role on our team as we move forward. We look forward to him making his debut in a Titans’ sweater” concluded Doremus.
