The Junior Titans tryouts brought out a tremendous group of hockey players. Congratulations to all that made the Midget 18, Midget 16 National and Midget 16 American teams. Top notch Bantam 99 and Bantam 98 teams were also selected out of the well qualified group that tried out at that level. A core of MET and AJ Junior Players were committed, and these tryouts will continue April 27-29 with an open junior tryout at Howell. Main Camp is August 3-5 at Howell Icew World.
This week continues with the selection of PeeWees, Squirts and our NYHL teams at all levels as well as, MAWHA girls teams and our Mite evaluations. If you wish to sign up go to our tryout page. If you were with us last week at T1 tryouts, and did not earn a spot, you are invited back this week, starting Tuesday
Tryouts can be a difficult time for the parents and the players. While everyone cannot be happy with the outcome, we try and conduct true evaluations and give everyone a fair look. We wanted to share with you an email from a parent regarding the process:
"Guys, my son attended your tryouts this past week after playing in another organization that I have coached within for many years. At first he was 'leary' of making a move to another organization, but I just wanted to let you know that the whole tryout process was fantastic in every way!
From my view it was clear you were looking for guys that like and are willing to compete and it was overall the best tryout process I have ever watched or participated within. Good Luck this season. Hopefuly, next season I can get my son to make the move. Thanks for such a smooth week, Mel Dow"
