After two scoreless periods, the Titans were down a man entering the third period and then Ben Yurchuk was called for hooking at 2:02 into it to give the Generals a 5-on-3. Twenty-two seconds Northeast’s Ryan Remick scored the eventual game winner to make it a 1 – 0 game. After Northeast’s Sixten Jennersjo won the draw deep inside the Titans zone, the puck went back to Remick at the top of the far side faceoff circle. Remick sent the biscuit to Bryceon Lago on his left. Lago immediately sent a return pass to Remick who took a one-timer that beat Titans goalie Zak Brice for Remick’s twelfth goal of the year.

The Generals doubled their lead at 6:56 into the final period. After Tyler Sanborn lost the puck breaking out of his own end, it was picked up by Remick at center ice. As Remick gained the line, he passed it to Jared Scott in the slot. Scott took a shot that was saved by Brice but Joe McGraw tapped in the rebound and into the back of the net for his fourth goal of the season.

Northeast’s Tyler Ramm scored an empty-net, shorthanded goal with fifty-seven seconds remaining in the contest to make it 3 – 0 and close out the scoring.

Brice stopped 29 of 31 shots in defeat while Cullen DeYoung turned aside all 36 shots he faced for his third shutout of the season. Click here for the complete box score.
