New Jersey Pre Draft Camp Set to Take Place This Weekend

Jun 2, 2023

The New Jersey Titans are gearing up for their June Pre-Draft Camp this weekend.  The Pre-Draft Camp is held annually to give more visibility for players looking to excel at the highest level of junior hockey on the East Coast.

“We are eager to kick off our summer camp process with our first camp of the off season. The camp process has changed over the last few years and we as an organization have certainly appreciated the process of procuring the correct players for each camp.” said Assistant Coach Kyle Shapiro, “With the NAHL lacking the futures draft that some other leagues entertain, we here in New Jersey have started to try and welcome younger birth years to our first camp of the off season as a way to start building relationships with up and coming players in youth hockey”

This season, over eighty players, aged 16-20, will compete over the next three days, coached by Titans’ Alumni and staff who have gone on to play at NCAA levels and higher. These players will have the opportunity to be selected in the NAHL Entry Draft on June 14th, as well as being put on the radar of the staff for years in the future.

Shapiro continued by saying “We feel like we have an extremely talented group of players here that we are thrilled to start tracking a building connection with as we track their growth to the junior ranks or look at for the 2023-2024 New Jersey Titans.”

Following the conclusion of camp on Sunday, a select number of players will be invited to the Titans’ Main Camp to be held July 24-27.  Information about season tickets and all things Titans for the upcoming 2023-24 season will be available later this summer.
