The North American Hockey League announced its Bauer Hockey Divisional Stars of the Week for week ending March 12 and Titans forward Ben Muthersbaugh was named the East Division’s star of the week while defenseman Joe Harney was named honorable mention.

Muthersbaugh had four points (all goals) during this past weekend’s split with the Maryland Black Bears. He had a pair of goals in Friday’s 3 – 2 win, and he had a pair of goals in Saturday’s contest. On the season, the Gilford, NH native has a total of 31 points (19 goals and 12 assists) in 47 games.

“Ben was huge for us on the offensive side of the puck all weekend. Scoring two goals each night against a strong Maryland club were big in helping us get the split for the weekend. Ben’s release and shot are a huge weapon, and he has worked daily to improve in all aspects of the game,” said Titans head coach Craig Doremus.

This is the third time this season that Muthersbaugh has received weekly/monthly league recognition. He was star of the week for week ending October 23 and honorable mention for week ending February 26.

Harney also had four total points (1 goal and 3 assists) this past weekend. He had a goal and an assist in Friday’s victory, and he had a pair of assists in Saturday night’s game. The Needham, MA native has 25 total points (4 goals and 21 assists) in 48 games this season.
