Live Coverage of the Titans’ 2019 NAHL Draft

The 2019 draft for the North American Hockey League is under way. Listed below are the picks made by the New Jersey Titans, as these players will look to make the roster as the next wave of Titans players.

 

First Round (14th overall)

The New Jersey Titans select goaltender Patrick Pugliese. The Pasadena, California native played for the Nipawin Hawks of the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League, posting a 1.95 goals against average and a .931 save percentage in 20 regular season games.

 

Fourth Round (92nd overall)

The Titans select forward Patrick Callahan. A 19-year-old from Skaneateles, N.Y., Callahan played for the Hawkesbury Hawks of the CCHL in the 2018-19 season. He recorded 25 points (14g, 11a) in 62 games.

 

Fifth Round (118th overall)

The Titans select defenseman Spencer McHardy. The 18-year-old blueliner is from Calgary, Alberta and spent the 2018-19 season with the Okotoks Oilers of the Alberta Junior Hockey League. In 52 regular season games, McHardy recorded three goals and 15 assists for 18 points.

 

Sixth Round (144th overall)

The Titans select forward Matthew Iasenza. The 19-year-old is from Montreal, Quebec and played the 2018-19 season with Canterbury School. In 29 regular season games, he put up 10 goals and nine assists for 19 points.

 

Seventh Round (170th overall)

The Titans select defenseman Aidan Torres. The 18-year-old blueliner is from Hingham, Mass. and played for the New Jersey Titans’ 18U team in the 2018-19 season. In 13 games between the East Coast Elite League and Atlantic Youth Hockey League, Torres notched four goals and eight assists for 12 points.

 

Eighth Round (196th overall)

The Titans select forward Alex D’Angelo. The 18-year-old is from Holland, Penn. and played for Virtua Hockey of the Atlantic Youth Hockey League. In the 2018-19 season, he recorded 13 points (7g, 6a) in 19 games. He also played two games with the Titans’ NAHL team as an affiliate player.

 

Ninth Round (222nd overall)

The Titans select defenseman Tyler Nasca. The 18-year-old defender is from Wheatfield, N.Y. and played for the Islanders Hockey Club of the NCDC in the 2018-19 season. In 49 regular season games, Nasca put up four goals and six assists for 10 points.

 

10th Round (248th overall)

The Titans select defenseman Ole Einar Engeland Andersen. The 20-year-old is from Hamar, Norway and played for the Connecticut Jr. Rangers of the NCDC in the 2018-19 season. In 40 regular season games, he notched six goals and 18 assists for 24 points.

 

11th Round (274th overall)

The Titans select forward Cade Lambdin. The 19-year-old is a Newport Mich. native and played for the Long Beach Sharks of the NA3HL in the 2018-19 campaign. In 42 regular season games, Lambdin scored 43 goals and notched 28 assists for 71 points.
