Middletown, NJ – The New Jersey Titans are pleased to announce that defenseman Jake Hamilton, 20, has committed to play NCAA Division III hockey at the University of Wisconsin-Superior. The Yellow Jackets are members of the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference.
In his second North American Hockey League season, the Chicago native played 50 games with the Titans reaching career highs in assists and points, tallying one goal and 12 assists along with a +11 rating. In 101 career NAHL games with the Titans, Soo Eagles, and Odessa Jackalopes, Hamilton posted 3 goals and 20 assists along with 219 penalty minutes.
Prior to the NAHL, Hamilton played two seasons in the Tier 1 Elite Hockey League for the Las Vegas Storm and Chicago Fury. In 76 games in the T1EHL, Hamilton scored five goals and had 19 points.
Hamilton is the seventh Titans player to commit to playing NCAA hockey.
