Iasenza and Outzen named honorable mention for NAHL’s Star of the Week

The North American Hockey League announced its Bauer Hockey Divisional Stars of the Week for week ending December 22 and Titans forwards Matthew Iasenza and Michael Outzen were named honorable mention for the East Division.

Iasenza had three points (2 goals and 1 assists) this past weekend with all of them coming in Saturday’s 6 – 3 come-from-behind victory over the Jamestown Rebels. Through twenty-three games played so far, the Quebec, CA native has sixteen points (8 goals and 8 assists). This is the second straight week the Titans rookie was named honorable mention for the East Division’s Star of the Week.

Outzen had three points (all goals) over the weekend. He was a key contributor to Friday’s 5 – 2 win over the Rebels having scored two goals, and he had a goal in Saturday’s win. The Highlands Ranch, CO native is third on the team in total points with thirty (12 goals and 18 assists). He leads the team with five game winning goals. He is the eleventh member of the Titans to be recognized by the league.
