The North American Hockey League announced its Bauer Hockey Divisional Stars of the Week for week ending October 16 and forwards Robert Hyde and Ben Yurchuk were named honorable mention for the East Division.
Hyde had a great start to his Titans career. Arriving earlier in the week via a trade with the Danbury Jr. Hat Tricks, Hyde had three total points (2 goals and 1 assist) during this past weekend’s sweep over the Northeast Generals. The North Babylon, NY native had a goal and an assist in Friday’s 4 – 2 win, and he scored the game tying goal in Saturday night’s 4 – 3 overtime victory.
Yurchuk also had three points (1 goal and 2 assists) this past weekend. The Randolph, NJ native had an assist in Friday’s contest, and he had an assist and the game winning goal in Saturday’s 4 – 3 overtime victory.
This is the second time, and second straight week, that Yurchuk has received weekly/monthly league recognition. Last week Yurchuck also was honorable mention for Star of the Week.
