The New Jersey Titans travel to the Hollydell Ice Arena today for their final preseason tune-up with a 3:00pm faceoff against the Philadelphia Rebels. The Titans won their first two preseason games, both against the Danbury Jr Hat Tricks, by scores of 7-3 and 8-3. The game is available with a free registration on NAHLtv.com. Offensively, New Jersey are led by Dominick Rivelli with 5 goals and an assist, and Jake Lindstrom with a goal and 2 assists. Dominik Bartecko also returns from last season, where he recorded 16 goals and 36 assists.
For Philadelphia, today’s matchup is their first of the preseason. Last year, David Deputy led the Rebels with 23 goals and 30 assists, and Connor Sedlak with 22 goals and 27 assists. The Rebels strength came from the crease, where Jakub Krbecek was named the East Division Star of the Week four separate times last season. His 2.50 goals against average and 92.5% save percentage were among the best marks in the league. The Rebels, while missing the playoffs by 8 points, took the season series over New Jersey with 5 wins and 3 losses.
The New Jersey Titans, proud members of the North American Hockey League, are entering their ninth season at the Middletown Sports Complex in Middletown, NJ.
