Dumas and Takacs named honorable mention for NAHL’s Players of the Month for October

The North American Hockey League announced its Players of the Month awards for the month of October and Titans forward Brendan Dumas and goaltender Andrew Takacs were name honorable mention for their respective positions.

Dumas had 16 points (4 goals and 12 assists) in ten games in October. The North Attleboro, MA native is second on the team in total points with 22 (6 goals and 16 assists).

The is the third time that Dumas has received weekly/monthly league recognition. He was second star of the week for week ending October 14 and honorable mention for week ending October 24.

Takacs had a 6 – 2 record in the month posting a 2.44 goals against average and .921 save percentage with no shutouts. On the season, the Bowie, MD native has an 8 – 2 record .926 save percentage and 2.23 goals against average (eighth best in the league).

This is the third time this season Takacs has received weekly/monthly league recognition. He was honorable mention for week ending September 26 and first star for week ending October 31.
