The North American Hockey League announced its Bauer Hockey Divisional Stars of the Week for week ending November 27 and Titans netminder Zak Brice was named the East Division’s second star of the week while forward Dominik Bartecko was named honorable mention.
This is the second straight week the two have been named second star of the week and honorable mention respectively.
Brice was between the pipes for both games during this past weekend’s sweep over the first place Maryland Black Bears where he posted a 2.00 goals against average and .943 save percentage.
On the season, Brice has a 6 – 4 record with a 2.47 goals against average and .923 save percentage with no shutouts.
This is the third time this season that Brice has received weekly/monthly league recognition. He was honorable mention for the East Division’s star of the week for week ending September 25 and second star of the week for week ending November 20.
Bartecko had three points (2 goal and 1 assists) over the weekend. He had an assist in Friday’s 5 – 3 win, and he scored both goals in Saturday’s 2 – 1 victory.
On the season, the St. Louis, MO native has nineteen points (5 goals and 14 assists) in 18 games. He has six points (3 goals and 3 assists) in four games with the Titans.
