The North American Hockey League announced its Bauer Hockey Divisional Stars of the Week for week ending April 2 and Titans forward Dominik Bartecko was named the East Division’s second star of the week while fellow forward Anthony Calafiore was named honorable mention.
Bartecko had five total points (3 goals and 2 assists) in three games last week – all Titans wins. He had an assist in last Tuesday’s 6 – 3 win over Danbury; a pair of goals in Friday’s 7 – 3 win over Northeast, and he had a goal and an assist in Saturday’s 4 – 1 victory of the Generals.
On the season, the St. Louis, MO native is second on the team in total points with 51 (15 goals and 36 assists). He leads the team in assists (36).
This is the sixth time this season that Bartecko has received weekly/monthly league recognition. He was honorable mention for the East Division’s star of the week for weeks ending November 20, 27; December 11; January 15 and 29.
Calafiore became the Titans all-time points leader (139) and goal scorer (63) over the weekend. He had an assist in Friday’s victory, and he a goal and an assist in Saturday’s win.
The team captain has 47 total points (20 goals and 27 assists) in 51 games this season.
This is the fourth time this season that the Staten Island, NY native has received weekly/monthly league recognition. He was named honorable mention for the East Division’s star of the week for weeks ending October 2 and January 8, and he was second star of the week for week ending November 6.
