AJHL Titan Stempin Commits to Nortlhland College

Howell, NJ – Titans standout forward Anthony Stempin, a member of the AJHL squad has committed to play his NCAA College Hockey at Northland College, located in Ashland, Wisconsin.  Northland is a Division III School that participates in the Midwest Collegieate Hockey Association.

 

Stempin, who came to the Titans in October from the Kenai River Brown Bears of the North American Hockey League was a catalyst offensively for the team putting up 15 goals and 21 assists for the team for a total of 36 points over the course of the year in 38 games.  Stempin was a dependable and durable player for the Titans and an outstanding character player with the club and was one of 17 billets on the Titans AJHL team in their return to the AJHL.

 

Stempin commented, "I am very excited to move on to the collegiate level and am very excited about spending the next four years at Northland College.  I want to thank all my coaches that I have had over the years and my parents who have helped me reach this goal of playing college hockey.  I also would like to give a special thanks to the Titans organization for giving me the opportunity to play for them this year and in helping me find a college."
