Dennis Canfield – Director of Scouting
 
Dennis Canfield joins the New Jersey Titans as their Director of Scouting and Assistant General Manager with over 15 years of experience at the junior hockey level.  A goaltender by trade, Canfield played NCAA Division II college hockey at St. Anselm College before turning professional with the Dayton Bombers of the ECHL in 2006. Canfield also had stops with Fayetteville and Knoxville in the SPHL.
 
Canfield earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from the University of Findlay in Findlay, Ohio.  While in college Canfield was a coach for Little Caesars AAA program and the Toledo Ice Diggers of the NAHL.  
 
Since 2007 Canfield has coached in the USPHL and NA3HL while also scouting in the BCHL for the Vernon Vipers.  He was also an NCAA DIII Assistant Coach for Buffalo State College.  Most recently, the Buffalo, New York native was a scout with the Minnesota Mallards of the NAHL before joining the Titans.  Canfield also works for IMG Academy in the Hockey Department. 
 

Jules Jardine

Jules Jardine – Scout, Lead Skills Coach

Jardine played junior hockey for the Henry Carr Crusaders in the MJBHL where he had 14 points (3 goals and 11 assists) in 37 games. He then played collegiately at Elmira College (where he earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing) and recorded 115 totals points (17 goals and 98 assists) in 98 NCAA Division III games. He was a two-time NCAA All-American.

After college, he played professionally for three years in Austria as well as in the Central Hockey League (CHL) with the Oklahoma City Blazers. He also played two seasons of professional roller hockey with the Toronto Planets and Florida Hammerheads in the RHI.  

Jardine has over 25 years of coaching and teaching hockey skills. He was a former head coach in the Jr. Canadiens and Toronto Titans organizations. He was a former Skills and Skating Coach for the Mississauga Ice Dogs and Toronto St. Michaels Majors of the Ontario Hockey League.

The Ontario native also has a movie background. He appeared in the 1986 hockey movie “Youngblood”, and he was a hockey coordinator and stunt double for the movie “Breakaway.”

He is currently the owner and chief instructor of World Class Hockey in Toronto.

Philip Siutz – Head European Scout

Philip Siutz, a 31-year-old native of Villach, Austria, developed his foundational hockey skills playing Midget Hockey on Canada’s west coast, where he participated in various hockey academies. He concluded his Midget career with the RINK Hockey Academy.  Following this, he advanced to junior hockey with IF Björklöven in Sweden before embarking on his professional career with his hometown team, Villacher SV. He further expanded his playing career by spending a season with Vännäs HC in Sweden, as well as two years with Dornbirn Bulldogs and the Bregenzerwald Tigers.

Upon retiring from active play, Philip transitioned into coaching, earning his IIHF Level A Coaching Certification. He has been actively involved in player development within his hometown, working with the Villacher SV Junior Program for athletes aged 13 to 20. Additionally, he has contributed to the national team at various tournaments, from U14 to U19 levels, and served as the Head Coach of the Youth Olympic female team in 2023.

Looking ahead, Philip will be coaching in the ICHL U18 International League, which includes teams from Austria, Slovenia, Italy, and Hungary. He will also serve as Director and Head Coach for regional player development initiatives within the Province of Carinthia.

 

Ryan Swain – Scout

Swain is a member of the New Jersey Titans Tier 1 midget coaching staff, as well as a skills coach for players in the New Jersey area. Ryan is a 26 year old New Jersey native who recently finished his playing career at the NCAA D3 level. He now transitioned into a full time head coach with the Titans as well as joining the NAHL staff to assist with player recruiting.

 
 

Dan Howard – Scout

Growing up in Freehold, New Jersey, Dan played his youth hockey for George and Mike Haviland with the American Eagles. After playing his high school hockey at Christian Brothers Academy in Lincroft, he went on to play juniors for the Walpole Stars in the EJHL and the Bismarck Bobcats of the AWHL. At the University of Delaware, he was a two-time All American and was selected to play for Team USA at the World University Games in Tarvisio, Italy. After college he played 2 years of minor pro with a bunch of stops including the Flint Generals (UHL) and Winston Salem Thunderbirds (SPHL). He retired from Wall Street in 2019 and has been coaching with the Titans Tier 1 midget program since.
 
Jimmy Gill – Scout

Jimmy Gill, the 29 year old Native of Jackson, NJ grew up playing Tier 1 for a number of NJ Teams ending his midget career playing for the NJ Titans under the coaching of George Haviland. He then moved onto his junior career playing for Kieth Primeau at the Philadelphia Revolution in the EHL. After 3 junior Seasons he continued his hockey career playing NCAA Division III for Kings College in Wilkes-Barre, PA. At Kings he earned a bachelors of science degree in Criminal Justice graduating with honors Magna Cum Laude.

While in college, Jimmy began running skills clinics, and running tournaments for swains hockey skills and development in the summers. During this time, he gained experience teaching players from beginners, to guys playing NCAA Division I and Players amongst the pro ranks of ECHL, AHL, NHL, And overseas. After college Jimmy decided to go full time with hockey and began coaching for the Titans in their midget program.

Jimmy will begin his 5th year as a coach in the midget program, and second as a scout for the Titans NAHL team. He will be the head coach of the 16U Major and assistant on the 18 Major team in the upcoming season. As well as, continuing to assist with the scouting and skill development for the Titans NAHL team.

 
Chris Ferazzoli – Scout
 
Originally from Floral Park, New York, Chris Ferazzoli joins the New Jersey Titans after 13 years of coaching in the Tampa, Florida area.  In that time, he led multiple national championship bound teams and guided players to higher levels of competition, including the development of an NHL draft selection.  Beginning his collegiate career with Sacred Heart University, Ferazzoli became a stand out player at the University of Delaware where he recorded 152 points in 84 games over three seasons, including being selected to Team USA at the World University Games in 2003.  The Long Islander played professionally in the ECHL, CHL, SPHL, and FHL before retiring in 2012.
 
Beyond coaching youth teams, Ferazzoli has forged a successful career worldwide as an individual skills coach.  In Sweden, he worked with European champions Frolunda and Djurgarden, while also working in Denmark and Canada.  He has also worked for the Tampa Bay Lighting, conducting the skills portion of their developmental camps over the summer and individually with players during the regular season and playoffs.  His coached players include Nikita Kucherov, Brayden Point, and Ryan Callahan.
