2017 Titans Main Camp Preview

The coaches and scouts have been extremely busy preparing for the camp since the early parts of the 2016-2017 season.  A tremendous amount of time and work goes into identifying, scouting and recruiting potential players for the club.  Players from all over the world are identified throughout the year and are tracked on and off the ice.  Information and data is collected on all perspective players and players come to New Jersey to compete for the opportunity to be a Titan.

Veteran returning players are joined by tendered players, draft picks, affiliates and select free agents to compete in four days of hard, fast, tough hockey.  At the end of the camp, the staff selects up to 30 players to begin the season with.

“We are extremely excited to get camp underway.  As much work and as stressful as the preparation is, it is all worth it come Thursday when you see so many talented young men competing for a spot to be a Titan.  Last year, we were thrilled with the camp and we expect this year to be even better.  It is great opportunity for any player to work their way into the NAHL and onto the New Jersey Titans’ roster.  I know the scouts and coaches have worked long and hard putting together a very talented, competitive camp and it is a fun weekend of hockey,” said  Head Coach and General Manager, Craig Doremus.

Fans are invited to come to Middletown, New Jersey and watch the action live all weekend long.  Come out and beat the summer heat and see your future Titans.  The on ice games begin Thursday night at 6:00 PM and conclude with the All Star Game on Sunday morning at 10:15 AM.  Fans will have the opportunity to see the players first hand and get to interact with the players as well.  Make sure you follow the Titans on twitter, Instagram, Facebook and periscope all weekend long to keep up with the action.
