The North American Hockey League has announced its Bauer Divisional Stars of the Week for week ending October 6 and Titans forward Kyle Jeffers was named the East Division’s Star of the Week while teammate Matt Cameron was named Second Star of the Week.

Jeffers had five points (3 goals and 2 assists) in this past weekend’s sweep over the Northeast Generals. Jeffers had two goals and two assists in Friday night’s 7 – 2 win and he scored the game tying goal in Saturday night’s 4 – 3 shootout win. Jeffers’ goal came with twelve seconds remaining in regulation.

Jeffers, an Oviedo, FL native, is second on the team in total points with fifteen (6 goals and 9 assists).

“Kyle was a force for us throughout the weekend” stated Titans head coach Craid Doremus. “He shifted to a new line for this weekend and him and his line mates really responded well.  Kyle moved his feet and played with consistent pace and was rewarded for his work with an impressive offensive weekend.  Kyle is a big part of our hockey club and we will need him to continue to contribute in all areas of the ice if our hockey team is going to be successful” concluded Doremus.

Cameron also had five points (1 goal and 4 assists) this past weekend. He scored the Titans sixth goal in Friday night’s win and assisted on all three of the Titans goals in Saturday’s shootout victory. The Berwyn, PA native is tied for third on the team with most points with twelve (5 goals and 7 assists).
