Titans Welcome in Ice Dogs

Dec 8, 2016

MIDDLETOWN, New Jersey– The New Jersey Titans will host the Fairbanks Ice Dogs at the Middletown Sports Complex Friday, Dec.9 at 7:45 p.m. and Saturday, Dec. 10 at 7:30 p.m.

Head Coach Craig Doremus and his Titans team are winners of seven out of their last 10 games and look to stay hot this weekend against a struggling Ice Dogs team, who are making the trip from Alaska.

“We are excited to host the Ice Dogs this weekend in New Jersey. Coach Stewart and his staff are the defending Robertson Cup champs and obviously their success speaks for itself.  Anytime you get to measure yourself against a great franchise like Fairbanks it’s a great opportunity,” said Doremus.  “We are confident our guys will be up to the task. We look forward to seeing all of our fans in Middletown this weekend.”

Titans’ forwards Todd Goehring and Victor Ostling have had the hot hands for the Titans, as the two players have combined for six of the team’s last nine goals over the past two games. Goehring and Ostling look to continue their effective play during a golden opportunity for the Titans this weekend.

The Titans are currently 2-0 in the season series versus the Ice Dogs, winning both games back on the road in early October.

During Friday night’s game, there will be a Teddy Bear Toss after the Titans score their first goal of the game. The Teddy Bears will be donated to the Ronald MacDonald house located in Long Branch, NJ and is associated with Monmouth Medical Center.

On Saturday night, fans will also have the opportunity to converse with Titans players during a Meet and Greet session after the game. The Meet & Greet is a chance for fans to meet their favorite Titan. There will be photos available for them to sign and there will be additional photo opportunities.

Tickets are available at the Middletown Sports Complex. Information about the Titans home games can also be reached at (732) 856-9700.
