Titans Prepare for N.C. Pre-Draft Camp

May 31, 2017

The New Jersey Titans are ready to open up another NAHL Pre-Draft Camp this weekend in Charlotte, NC starting Friday, June 2 and running through Sunday, June 4 at the Extreme Ice Center. The camp will host prospects and hopeful players from all over the nation eager to get a crack at the Titans’ opening night roster.

The weekend will be full of hard, competitive hockey with each player getting an opportunity to show off their abilities in front of the coaches and scouting staff. Players will come to camp physically and mentally prepared for each of their games and compete hard for the opportunity to get drafted or invited back to main camp in July.

“The pre-draft camps are an important part in our process in building our team.  It gives us a more intimate opportunity to see the players and interact with them on a personal level.  We have been able to identify a good number of players both for our draft process and main camp over the past year.  Charlotte is an exciting market place for us as our affiliation with the Rush has proven to be beneficial to our program.  Their ability to develop players and get them prepared for the NAHL has been extremely helpful for us.  Ryan Cruthers and his staff have laid the groundwork for a bright future with the Titans and Rush in the south east district.  We are excited to make our way down to Charlotte for camp and we look forward to a very competitive camp,” said head coach Craig Doremus.

This is the final pre-draft camp for the Titans and a chance for potential players to impress coaches and scouts prior to the NAHL Entry Draft on Tuesday, June 6. Registration for the camp is still open on the Titans website, however, no goalie spots are available.
