Titans Players Excel at MJHL All-Star Game

Jan 29, 2013

Walpole, MA – The New Jersey Junior Titans had standout performances in many ways at this year’s MJHL All-Star game in Walpole, Massachusetts.  By virtue of a strong first half of the season, Coach Brandon Kape was selected to coach one of the teams and he brought a couple of Titans with him who performed at an extremely high level.

Nikita Samoylov, Todd Unger, and Billy Dovenero had standout performances, capped off by Samoylov being named the game MVP.  Samoylov, Dovenero, and Unger were three of the best players on the ice over the course of the game.  They played together and their chemistry led to 2 goals from Dovenero, and 1 from Samolov and Unger, as well as multiple assists from all three players as they were the best line in the All-Star game.  In addition to the Titan trio in the All-Star game, Trever Ralph and Ryan Burr participated in the Prospects game and both gave a good account of themselves, including Ralph who played “out of his mind” according to people watching the game.

All in all, it was a great weekend of hockey for Titan participants and congratulations to all who participated.
