Titans Add Two Forwards to EHL Roster

Jul 20, 2014

The Titans EHL team has added two big recruits for the upcoming 2014-2015 season. This past week the Titans signed Richie McCartney and Troy Beinhauer, who both spent last season with the Central Penn Panthers of the Metropolitan Junior League. Both McCartney and Beinhauer are forwards who will look to make an impact in the offensive zone this coming season. Last year McCartney, a 96 birth year, had over 80 points in the Met and looks to continue that success at the next level. He is considered one of the best 96 forwards in the area and is a potential top line guy. McCartney had this to say about the Titans, “I am very excited to join the Titans organization.  I was impressed with the people and facilities and look forward to joining the team next season.” Beinhauer, a 95 birth year, is a hard working and hard-nosed forward who also knows how to put up points. He is a gritty player who is great at winning battles in the corner and will make an impact right away with the Titans. Coach Kape, head coach of the EHL Titans, “we are thrilled about adding two Junior veterans with considerable offensive skill.” The Titans only have a few spots remaining on the EHL team for the upcoming season, but with multiple free agents coming in to visit those spots will fill up quickly. The Titans have also worked to develop multiple relationships with various Tier I and II Junior teams, who will be sending us some talented young players who need further development to our main camp in August. With the incoming talent, the future is very bright for the Titans EHL team.
