Feb 5, 2020

The New Jersey Titans have announced today that the team has acquired veteran defenseman Joe Nagle as part of a three-team trade involving the Northeast Generals and Corpus Christi IceRays. The Titans have traded defenseman Mac Wiseman to the IceRays.

Nagle, the Generals captain, is in his fourth and final season of junior hockey, all with the Generals until now. This season Nagle has twenty-two points (3 goals and 19 assists) in thirty-eight games. In three and a half seasons with Northeast, Nagle has 52 points (6 goals and 46 assists) in 142 games with an overall +14.

“I am very happy to be joining this team” stated Nagle. “I can’t wait to help the team in any way to continue their success” concluded Nagle.

“First, I would like to thank Mac for his service and commitment to the Titans organization” stated Titans head coach Craig Doremus. “I wish him much success in Corpus Christi.”

“Second, we are extremely excited to add Joe to our team. Joe is a veteran defenseman in the NAHL and is very familiar with the East Division. Joe will be a nice addition to an already deep blueline. We think he will be a big contributor for us on the ice and in the dressing room” concluded Doremus.
