Cameron and Machlitt named honorable mention for NAHL’s Stars of the Week

The North American Hockey League announced its Bauer Hockey Divisional Stars of the Week for week ending November 24 and Titans forwards Matt Cameron and Mitch Machlitt were named honorable mention for the East Division.

Cameron had three points (1 goal and 2 assists) in Saturday’s 5 – 2 victory over the Maine Nordiques. The Berwyn, PA native is tied for third on the team in total points with twenty-three (10 goals and 13 assists). This is the third time this season Cameron has received recognition from the league. He was the East Division’s second star of the week for weeks ending October 16 and November 3.

Matchlitt had five points (3 goals and 2 assists) in Friday’s 7 – 5 win over Maine. The Maple Grove, MN native leads the team in total points with thirty-one (15 goals and 16 assists). He also leads the team with most goals (15). He is tied for having the most game winning goals (three) but he also a league and team best +18 +/-. This is the fourth time this season Machlitt has received recognition from the league. He was the East Division’s Star of the Week (September 16), honorable mention (September 30) and runner up for Forward of the Month (September).
