Calafiore named NAHL’s East Division’s second star of the week; Harney is honorable mention

The North American Hockey League announced its Bauer Hockey Divisional Stars of the Week for week ending November 6 and Titans forward Anthony Calafiore was named the East Division’s second star of the week while defenseman Joe Harney was named honorable mention.

Calafiore had three points (all goals) in this past weekend’s sweep over the Danbury Jr. Hat Tricks, with both games have a 5 – 2 score. He had a goal in Friday night’s game and a pair in Saturday’s contest.

The team’s captain is second on the team with total points (15), and he is tied with the most goals on the team (eight). This is the second time this season that the Staten Island, NY native have received weekly/monthly league recognition. He was named honorable mention for the East Division’s star of the week for week ending October 2.

Harney had four points (1 goal and 3 assists) the two games. He had a pair of assists in Friday’s victory, and he had a goal and an assist in Saturday’s win.

The Needham, MA native has five points (1 goal and 4 assists) in 19 games this season.
