The North American Hockey League announced its Bauer Hockey Divisional Stars of the Week for week ending November 7 and Titans forward Anthony Calafiore was named the East Division’s second star of the week while fellow forward Tommy Bannister was named honorable mention.
Calafiore had six points (1 goals 5 points) during this past weekend’s two-game sweep over the Danbury Jr. Hat Tricks. He had three assists in Friday’s 6 – 3 win and a goal and two assists in Saturday’s 5 – 4 victory. The Staten Island, NY native is third on the team in total points with 23 (6 goals and 17 assists).
Bannister had five points (1 goal and 4 assists) in Friday’s contest. He leads the team in total points 28 (12 goals and 16 assists). He also leads the team in goals (12).
This is the fifth time that Bannister has received weekly/monthly league recognition. He was the East Division’s Second Star of the Week for week ending September 26, honorable mention for weeks ending October 17 and 24, and honorable mentioned for forward of the month for September.
