The New Jersey Junior Titans are proud to announce that Captain Jimmy Burns has committed to Castleton State College for the 2014-‘15 season. A Middletown, NJ native, Burns has appeared in every game for the Junior Titans this season for a line of 3g 9a 12 pts. Castleton State is located in Rutland, VT and competes in one of the best NCAA Division III Conferences in the country, the ECAC East: “Castleton has a great program and is an every better school. I am very excited to join the Spartan family and look forward to a great four years,” Burns said.
The Junior Titans are currently competing in the first round of the EHL Playoffs. After a dominant home victory versus the Washington Junior Nationals in which Burns had a goal and an assist, the Titans traveled to New Hampshire to take on the first place Monarchs. After dropping game 1 in the best of three series last night Captain Burns looks to lead the Titans to a game 2 victory and force a final Game 3 on Sunday.
