Berry Shuts The Door on Tomahawks

Oct 17, 2015

JOHNSTOWN, Pa – Titans goalie Jack Berry stopped all pucks he faced en route to a 3-0 victory

The Titans scored first when Mike Gelatt sent a shot from a sharp angle past Tomahawks netminder Nick DeSimone. For Gelatt, the goal was his third of the season.

In the second period, New Jersey increased its lead to 2-0 thanks to a Garrett Hallford goal halfway through the period. Joe Schuler picked up the lone assist.

Both teams would trade shots and chances but it would the Titans who would put the game away late in the third period.

With the goalie pulled, Raymond Brice would find the empty net to score and win the game for the Titans 3-0.

Jack Berry stopped 26 Tomahawks shots for the Titan victory.

The next time New Jersey takes the ice will be Oct. 23 at Middletown Ice World against the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Knights. Faceoff will be at 7 p.m.
