Feb 26, 2013

The NJ Jr Titans are excited to welcome former Gunnery Assistant Coach Adam Houli to their coaching staff for the 2013-2014 season.   Houli, who returns to New Jersey after two years with The Gunnery is a superb addition to the Titan staff as Houli will head up the U16 Midget American team.

Born and raised in Howell, New Jersey, Adam grew up playing for many local teams in the area.  He attended The Gunnery, a prep school in CT, for his high school.  While in high school he also attended the United States Festival Development Program for four years.  Following high school, Adam attended Trinity College, NCAA DIII school, where he was a NESCAC champion, 3-time leading point getter and captain in his senior year.  Adam has most recently played “A” professional hockey in the Federal Hockey League for the Danbury Whalers.  He continues to work with the Atlantic District coaching staff.

Houli is extremely excited to join the staff as well, “I am super excited to join the Titan family.  I have watched the organization grow from the ground up and believe it is an organization that helps develop their hockey players in the best way possible.  I look forward to helping these young players become the best they can be on and off the ice.”

Titans owner George Haviland also was very excited about Houli joining the staff.  “We were able to secure a top area Coach in Adam Houli for player development.  We couldn’t be happier right now about appointing Adam as a part of our staff for 2013-2014.”
