PITTSTON, Pa – The New Jersey Titans used an Adam Hascic late goal to steal a 2-1 victory from the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Knights Friday night.

The Knights would tally the game's opening goal with their first power play goal of the season. Aiden Beck fired a wrist shot past Titans goalie Spencer Wright. Previously, the Knights went 0-for-25 on the man advantage.

After back-and-forth action started the second period, the Titans would find the back of the net on the man advantage.

Jesse Farabee feathered the puck under the pads of Andrey Svistunov on the backhand to tie the hockey game at 1-1. Anthony Cusanelli and Bruno Birzitis picked up the assists on Farabee's fourth of the season.

The third period saw teams exchange chances but the Titans would break the 1-1 tie late in the period.

Hascic broke through the Knights defense and scored a breakaway goal to give the Titans a 2-1 lead.

Wright withheld a Knights surge in the final minutes to pick up the victory.

The Titans visit Aston Saturday night in Aston, Pa. Faceoff is scheduled for 7 p.m.
