Titans AJHL Goalie Neal Commits to URI

Howell, NJ – NJ Titans AJHL Goalie Caleb Neal has made his commitment for the upcoming season, as Neal will attend the University of Rhode Island.  URI is an ACHA Division I School that plays their home games on campus at Boss Ice Arena, located in Kingston, Rhode Island.  URI is best known for their 2005-2006 National Championship.

 

Neal, who came to the Titans last year from the Springfield Jr Blues of the North American Hockey League is a native of Columbia, Missouri.  Neal attended school at Shattuck St. Mary’s, well known as a hockey power in Faribault, Minnesota prior to his Junior career.  Last season, Neal established himself as the Titans top AJHL Goalie finishing the year with a .906 save percentage and a goals against average of 3.34.

 

Said Neal of his decision to attend URI, “I am really excited to continue my hockey career at URI.  They have a great program with a great history and I am very glad to become a part of it.  I also want to thank everyone in the Titan community that has supported me the past two years .  Especially Coach DePalma and Haviland, they have really helped me with my decision and gave me a great place to play and a home here in New Jersey.”
