Titan Junior Players Invited to MET League Prospects and All-Star Game

Jan 25, 2011

With a season so far that has seen them up at or near the top of the Mullen Division of the Metropolitan Junior Hockey League all season, there was no surprise when the Titan Junior squad had a number of players named to All-Star teams for the MET League’s midseason classic.  With two games set to take place at Iorio Arena in Walpole, Massachusetts on Sunday, first at 11:30 AM, the MET League Prospects Game and second, at 12:00 Noon, the MET League All-Star Game.

For the Prospects game, the Titans had a number of deserving players invited to participate in the game.  Titans that will be suiting up in that game include Defenseman Dan O’Keefe, and Forwards James Malone and Dalton Bew.  Defenseman Matt Armenti was selected to the game, however he is unable to participate due to injury this season.  In addition to those players, Titan Junior Head Coach Dustin DePalma will be on the bench in the Prospects game.

As for the MET League All-Star game, the Titans successes did not go unnoticed, as a couple of Titans received this honor.  Representing the Titans and the Jersey Shore in this mid-season classic will be Defenseman Pat Kearns and Forward David Ramos.  In addition to these two Titans, Goaltender Chris Marsillo was selected as an alternate to the game.

The entire Titans family would like to congratulate these players on being selected for these honors, and would like to wish these players good luck in Walpole on Sunday.
