Skate-A-Thon: 12 hours straight on the ice

Jan 14, 2016

The New Jersey Titans hockey club is planning a Skate-A-Thon for two great causes Daniela’s Wish and for our Squirt A program to play a tournament in Lake Placid.

The Skate a Thon is scheduled for January 24, 2016 from 8 p.m. to 8 a.m. Players will stay on the ice throughout the night to raise money for these two causes. We ask you to do one of two things either pledge a dollar amount for each hour we skate or make a simple money donation. Any donation is greatly appreciated.

The Titans organization takes great pride in being involved with our surrounding community. Through many efforts we try to reach out to our community and lend a helping hand. We are currently involved with an Anti-Bullying campaign, volunteer time to our youth hockey organization and many other efforts.

Daniela’s Wish is a 501c3 non profit volunteer organization for the sole purpose of granting wishes to ill children. 100% of your donation goes straight to granting these wishes. The Goal is to help children & their families in our community by granting wishes and creating smiles & memories. Her mission is to help every child and their family to have comfort, security and safety during times of sadness. By providing items they have lost or need to get through a tragedy or that time of sadness.

Our Squirt Team Greenhall is planning a tournament in Lake Placid NY on March 4-6, 2016. They have been fundraising throughout the 2015-2016 season to raise funds and we feel we can help put them over the top. One of their current players is our stick boy during home games and has been adopted by every one of our 23 players as a little brother.

Thank you so much for your support.
