Gary Biggs
Director of Scouting

A native of Bridgewater, NJ, Gary Biggs began his hockey career playing for the Titans organization and playing high school hockey for Bridgewater-Raritan High school. Gary was the 2007 high school player of the year and was a two time all state goaltender. Prior to attending Youngstown State University Gary spent two seasons playing Junior Hockey for the Titans organization guiding them to two straight playoff appearances. While at Youngstown State University Gary was a four year starter and is the University’s all-time wins leader. After his playing career, Gary spent two seasons as an assistant at The College of New Jersey and four years at Hillsborough High School. Gary was previously the Head Coach of Seton Hall University Ice Hockey program and is currently the Northeast Scout for the Barrie Colts of the OHL.


Matt Dibble
NAPHL/ North East Scout

A native of Buffalo, NY, Matt is excited to be back for his second season with the New Jersey Titans Program. Prior to his time with the Titans, Matt spent a year as a special consultant for the WB/Scranton Knights of the NAHL and as a scout for the Rochester Jr. Americans of the USPHL. Matt owns and operates Roc City Elite Hockey (summer hockey), and attends all the big summer events. He has worked directly with many NAHL players that have seen success and reached an NCAA level, and is happy to continue to do that with the Titans. Matt is excited to help the Titans identify players in the Northeast Region, including NY, MA, PA, CT, and Canada. Additionally, Matt will help with direct oversight of the NAPHL, attending multiple NAPHL events.


Alec Austin
Scout

Originally from Florida, Alec started his “AAA” hockey career under Vlad Chermata, a top level Russian Army player in the late 1980s, and one of the famous Sutter brothers, Duane Sutter. Alec was then recruited to play for the Cleveland Barons. After the Barons, Alec joined one of the top organizations in the country, Little Caesars U16 midget minor who ended up winning the national championship in 2008, with notable players like Rocco Grimaldi and Mike Houser. Alec then tendered in OJHL, with the Wellington Dukes in 2010 after almost winning another National Championship at the Tier I AAA program with Team Maryland.

After juniors, Alec committed to Wisconsin Superior. Alec has been a scout in the NAHL for the last two years and has helped with advising players since he was 18 years old. He is also a current 1L at Minnesota and graduated with honors from Hamline University.  He has extensive knowledge in the Junior A, AAA and college hockey world and has dedicated his life to helping kids through the difficult path of junior hockey. He has helped many clients complete their dreams to play division one hockey and major junior and is planning on being a certified agent and attorney after passing the bar.


Mike Caccioti
Scout

A native of Staten Island NY, Mike began his hockey career playing for the New Jersey Rockets where he won a national championship in 2001. He played high-school hockey for Seton Hall Prep where he was the 2005 high school player of the year and was a three-time all state recipient. Prior to attending Stony Brook University, Mike played his junior hockey with the New Jersey Rockets in the AJHL. While at Stony Brook, he was the recipient of two First Team All American Awards and was the assistant captain his junior year and team captain senior year. Mike is currently the Assistant coach with the U16 Long Island Gulls where he has coached for the 3 previous seasons.


Danny Cassano
Scout

Dan is a native of Deer Park, NY.  He spent his hockey career playing for the Long Island Royals, Long Island Gulls, New York Bobcats and New Jersey Rockets before playing college hockey at Neumann University (NCAA Division III) and Stony Brook University (ACHA Division I).  While at Stony Brook, he earned his degree in Finance.  In addition to his work for the Titans, Dan is the Head Coach of the Long Island Gulls U16 National team where he enters his 4th season at the helm.


Kevin Pawlos
Great Lakes Scout
A native of Pittsburgh, PA, Kevin Pawlos played AAA Tier 1 hockey for the Pittsburgh Predators organization and for Bishop Canevin High School. While at Bishop Canevin, Kevin was team captain for two seasons and voted a PIHL All-Star twice. After high school, Kevin attended Youngstown State University where he was an assistant captain all four years, was voted to the All-Conference team twice, and is the University’s all-time points leader by a defenseman.
Kevin currently resides is Pittsburgh,PA. He currently is the Operating Budget Manager for the City of Pittsburgh as well as the head coach for the Bishop Canevin hockey team.

Andrew Ferencevych
Mid-Atlantic Scout
Andrew is in his third year as Head Coach of the West Windsor Plainsboro high school hockey team where he guided the team to it’s first state tournament appearance in over 5 years. Andrew is a Level 5 USA Certified Coach and has 7 years of collegiate coaching experience. A native of New Jersey, Ferencevych is a graduate of the Seton Hall University Law school and is a full time Lawyer in Mercer County New Jersey.

Matt Kiernan
Scout
Currently the Co-Owner, President and Director of Hockey Operations for the NJ 87s of the Eastern Hockey League Premier  and EHL Tier III Junior Hockey teams, Matt is presently a scout for the New Jersey Titans. He has 10 years of coaching experience at the Mite-Midget level including Tier I and Tier II while  leading his U14 Tier II Girls team as a runner up in the USA Hockey Nationals in 2014.  He played four years NCAA Division III hockey at University of Scranton, and has over 20 years experience as an equity derivatives trader, formerly vice-president Goldman Sachs, founder and principal owner Stuyvesant Trading and partner Integral Derivatives.

Adam Houli
Scout
Adam is currently Co-Owner, General Manager and Head Coach of the New Jersey 87s of the EHL and EHLP. He served as a coach in the Atlantic District Development Program for the last seven years, and was an assistant coach at The Gunnery Prep team from 2011-2013, and is currently the head coach of the Manasquan high school varsity team.  Adam played four years of NCAA Division III hockey at Trinity College, two years in the Federal Hockey League.
