Howell, NJ – After one weekend of play in NJYHL Squirt Action, the NJ Titans Squirt Gray team, comprised of all Girls who came up through the Titans Girls Development program , sit in first place with a 2-0 record. The Titans Squirt Gray team is the only all-girls team competing in the NJYHL.
The Titans started their season off on the right foot with a 2-1 win over the Montclair Blues at home led by the goaltending of Karina Vang. Goals were scored by Ani Kozak and Molly Riggi while assists were picked up by Molly Riggi and Rachel Pallo.
The Titans closed out their weekend with a 5-2 win over the Ramapo Saints on Sunday. Goals were picked up by Noelle Turek, Anna Clements, Aeryn Freeman, and Rachell Pallo had two goals. Assists were picked up by Clements, Rachel Pallo, and Holly Kiernan as Pallo and Kiernan had two assists a piece. Vang picked up the win again in net.
The Titans Squirt Girls are coached by Matt Kiernan and Dave Clements. The team is comprised of goaltender Karina Vang, Anna Clements, Rachel Pallo, Holly Kiernan, Ani Kozak, Noelle Turek, Molly Riggi, Elizabeth Clements, Aeryn Freeman, Amanda Haviland, and Emma Conroy.
