The New Jersey Titans, proud member of the North American Hockey League, have announced its 2016-17 season game schedule. The club will play 56 games with 28 at home and 28 on the road.
The puck drops for the season on Friday, September 16th when the Titans travel to Wilkes-Barre/Scranton (PA.) to face the Knights.
The Titans first home game comes the following night on Saturday, September 17th at 7:30 pm when the Titans complete a home and home series with Wilkes-Barre.
The Titans schedule breaks down with 12 games against each team in the division. The Titans will also play six games against both the Kenai River Brown Bears and the Fairbanks Ice Dogs.
“It’s another exciting point of the off season to see our schedule released for the 2016- 2017 season. Next season will be a great season for the Titans and our fans. We are extremely excited about opening our home season in Middletown on September 17th against the Knights, said Head Coach and General Manager, Craig Doremus.
“We have such a great fan base and we are eager to represent them this season in the NAHL this year. We can’t wait to get started in September.”
In their first season, the Titans finished second in the division behind the rival Aston Rebels. New Jersey’s first game against Aston will take place on Friday, November 18th.
The home schedule breaks down as follows. There will be 13-Saturday night games, 7-Fridays, 6-Wednesdays, 2-Sundays, and 1-Thursday. The monthly breakdown is 1-September, 2-October, 5-November, 6-December, 4-January, 3-February, 5-March, and 2-April.
The breakdown of home games versus opponents is Aston – 6, Johnstown 6, NTE/Boston – 6, Wilkes-Barre – 6, Fairbanks – 2, and Kenai River – 2.
Individual game tickets will be going on sale in August. Season ticket packages are currently available. The Titans have a ticket plan for every fan.
