Michael Outzen signs tender agreement with the Titans

Apr 30, 2018

The New Jersey Titans are pleased to announce that Michael Outzen has signed a tender agreement with the team for the 2018-19 season.

Outzen is an 18-year-old forward from Littleton, Colo. and played the last two seasons at Cushing Academy, a prep school in Ashburnham, Mass.

“Michael is a player we are extremely excited to add to our forward group next season.  He had a tremendous season with Cushing and the Eastern Mass Senators,” said Titans head coach Craig Doremus. “Michael’s ability to create offense both for himself and his line mates will be critical for our team next year. His compete level and attention to detail will fit well in our structure and we are looking forward to a great season from Michael.”

When speaking about the tender agreement, Outzen said he is excited to become a part of the Titans’ organization and continue playing hockey in the east coast.

“It’s awesome knowing that you’ll be playing at the next level with such skilled players and at a high level,” Outzen said. “My next goal will be playing high-level college hockey and the North American Hockey League will help me get noticed. It feels good knowing that I have that opportunity to work my way up to that next goal.”

The Titans came across to me after the nationals a few weeks ago. I was really happy to get noticed by such a great team and organization. After talking to the coaching staff, I saw they were really great guys and it made me feel more comfortable with the team, so I knew it would be a great fit.”

We would like to congratulate Michael and his family on his decision to become a part of the Titans organization.
