Game Preview: Titans at Aston

The New Jersey Titans and the Aston Rebels will lock horns once again. This will be the second meeting of the season between these two teams. The Rebels skated away with the 3-2 victory the last time they played the Titans which was their home opener.

Aston

The Rebels are coming off an impressive 5-3 victory over the Johnstown Tomahawks Friday night. Defenseman Gvido Jansons, who was named NAHL defenseman of the month, scored in the game bringing his point total to 10 points (three goals and seven assists)

Aston has won four consecutive games going back to the NAHL showcase. During that stretch, the Rebels have limit opponents to no more than three goals.

The next time the Rebels take on New Jersey will be November 13.

New Jersey

New Jersey travels to the Philadelphia area after a 2-1 victory over the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Knights in Northeastern Pennsylvania.

Jesse Farabee and Adam Hascic contributed in the goal scoring department and goalie Spencer Wright stopped 28 shots for the victory.

The two points increased their lead in the standings to 14 points which is a three-point lead over Johnstown and four over the Rebels.

The Titans will be on the road next week when they travel to Johnstown, Pa., for the Tomahawks home opening weekend.
