Christian Bardarson tenders with the Titans

Apr 14, 2018

The New Jersey Titans are proud to announce that Christian Bardarson has signed a tender agreement with the team for the 2018-19 season.

Bardarson is a native of Wausau, Wis. and spent the 2017-18 season with the Soo Eagles of the Northern Ontario Junior Hockey League. In 56 games, Bardarson notched 41 goals and 31 assists for a total of 72 points.

“I think he brings a good pace and a good skill set to our forward group,” said Titans head coach Craig Doremus. “He has some size and some skating ability which I think will compliment our group next year. When he came in here last week, he showed really well so we’re excited to add him to the fold next season.”

When talking about the tender, the 19-year-old forward said he looks forward to continuing his hockey career in the Garden State. Bardarson also made the trip to Middletown last week and practiced with the team. He mentioned that the coaches, staff and players left a good impression on him and made his decision to sign with the Titans easier.

“I am very excited to have tendered with the Titans I’ve never had an opportunity like this so I’m ready to come into the season next year and put forth my best effort,” said Bardarson. “In just the short amount of time that I was there for practices I could tell that it was a very professional organization and all the coaches ran everything so well that I knew I was gonna be a good fit for me.”

We would like to congratulate Christian and his family on his decision to become a part of the Titans organization.
